I saw a similar bug marked as resolved, but my issue was slightly different so I'm not sure if it too is fixed. My Model-T is setup to use Celsius as is my account on the brewbit web site. The problem is that when I select a static set point via the Model-T directly it forces me to set the temperature in Fahrenheit.
Hmm, this seems to work correctly for us. Currently the temperature units for the website and the device are completely separate. Did you set both of them to Celsius?
The website and MT are both set to C. Here's a video showing the behavior. There's even a bonus bug in that my MT locked up and had to be power cycled both times when trying to go back to the main screen.
Interesting. Can you try updating the software with the instructions here:
The lockup was fixed in the update referenced above.Try and toggling the display to degrees F and go back to the home screen and then go and set it back to C to see if that fixes the static setpoint issue..
Here's what happens after toggling. The first time the units are correct, but the second time they are not:
I'll try updating the firmware and report back later.
@flemming I recreated it after watching that video. Thanks.
I fixed it and it will be included in the next update that we will push out tonight or tomorrow morning. The current update won't fix this.
Thanks for the help!
Glad I could help.
We just pushed 1.2.0 which addresses this.
