I have experienced some of the same issues brought up on this forum with regard to the Model-T. Nothing as major as some have reported, but nothing catastrophic. I understood when I supported Brewbit's Kickstarter that I would be part of the testing processing in getting this device working properly. I also understood that I had to have patience with any issues that came up in the early stages of the product.
That being said, the Model-T has exceeded my expectations of a new product. The support from the owners has been nothing short of amazing, considering they have day jobs and I imagine they have been non-stop focused on Model-T's development and launch way before crowd-sourcing through Kickstarter. So to that point, their families have undoubtedly been affected by their work on the Model-T.
So, for the Model-T; there is nothing else like this on the market. We all should be privileged to have such an awesome tool in our home breweries. This tool has so much potential to make our hobby all that much enjoyable.
By the way, my MT has been plugging away, error free since yesterday. I'm using the Unstable release, in On/Off Control Mode with a .5 hysteresis, controlling one cooling output, and a temperature profile to Cold Crash my Vanilla Porter. Look at that beautiful graph!
