I'm on the most current stable version and this just happened yesterday, though the touchscreen freezing has been a pretty persistent issue, so I'll go with that first.
When I go in to check on an output, often when I hit the back button, the whole things freezes up. Sometimes, it'll come back after a minute or two, and sometimes it just stays frozen and unresponsive. This has been happening about as long as I can remember, but (as far as I can tell) is completely random. Sometimes I can get in and out, no problem, sometimes it freezes.
So anyway, yesterday I pitched a lager and went in to adjust the setpoint for what was apparently a 23 day long session, from 40 to 45. I went in to confirm the outputs were correct, it froze, I pulled the plug and restarted, (I may have gone back to check the setpoint, can't remember), and went on my merry way. When I got back this afternoon, my freezer was on (which is odd cause it's ~15F outside) and I found the inside at 12F, complete with 5 gallons of frozen pre-or-currently fermenting beer (and another 10 or so of made beer and cider). When I checked the device, it gave a blank setpoint, which when I checked online translated to 0F. I guess I'll be re-pitching once I can get back to the brew shop (and hoping it's not all ruined...).
In the mean-time, any ideas what could have caused the setpoint change? Or the recurrent touchscreen freezing?
Also, just want to say that I'm really enjoying my Model-T!
